BUSY WEEKEND AT THE MUSIC SCHOOL
Spotlight Concert (Saturday) and Brass Masterclass (Sunday)

There will be a SPOTLIGHT CONCERT this Saturday at 12 noon featuring Sara Davison and her singing students. As usual, tickets are £4 and there will be refreshments afterwards. This is a great opportunity for pupils to perform in a friendly and encouraging environment. On Sunday, from 10-4, members of Fine Arts Brass (and ESO Principals) Simon Lenton and Angela Whelan will be running a MASTERCLASS FOR BRASS for students from the school and outside it. There are still a couple of places available at £35. The price includes a ticket to a concert performance by Fine Arts Brass on May 26th. For those unable to attend the concert the price for the day is £25. Call the school to book a place.

ELGAR SCHOOL OF MUSIC NEWS

In the wake of the great success and popularity of the recent production of The Boy Friend, the school has decided to create a Musical Theatre Academy. It will meet fortnightly, on Saturdays at 2:30pm. The tutors are Britt Packer, Victoria Wakeman and Stephen Watkins.

This term, there will be six sessions covering tuition in stagecraft, dance, voice and acting leading to a workshop performance at the end of it.

The cost of a term's tuition is £45. The second session is THIS SATURDAY (12th May).
