Music Makers
Group activities in which listening skills, responses to rhythms and pitch, and creativity are developed through singing, the playing of simple percussion instruments, and musical games.For children aged 3 to 7 who are confident enough to be left with the teacher.

The ESM Songbirds
Our accomplished junior choir, formerly the Elgar Junior Singers, but re-named 'The ESM Songbirds', is seeking to recruit boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 16 to join them.

The choir is led by Stephen Watkins, and he has divided the choir into two groups - an older chamber choir, 'Nightingales', able to tackle more complex works, and a younger beginners' group, 'Songbirds'.

The two groups will rehearse together for a part of each session, with the 'Nightingales' staying on after the younger group have finished.

Musical Theatre Academy
For children between the ages of 8 and 18. During the Autumn term, there will be six sessions covering tuition in stagecraft, dance, voice and acting, leading to a workshop performance at the end of term. Each Spring term, we will be preparing for a new production involving the whole school.

Sessions:              Fortnightly, on Saturdays from 2:30-4:30pm.
